Welcome, we’re glad you’re here
Although we are still under renovation, we have seven rooms available to book for your stay. Our inn features many scenic common areas to enjoy throughout your stay, a continental breakfast spread daily, and comfortable rooms with all the modern conveniences nestled within this historic property.
Yesterday's Charm with Today's Comforts
GreenLife Inn at Mimosa is an iconic inn being brought back to life in the heart of Tryon, NC.
You have the unique opportunity to stay with us and enjoy many of the comforts that this beautiful building offers before we are completely renovated (don’t worry we won’t hand you a paint brush!)
The Inn has an extended stay suite as well as both single and adjoining rooms to accomodate your family and travel companions. Renovations are underway to provide a room that is ADA accessible, even though the Inn is exempt from that requirement. There will also be a pet-friendly suite.
Our rooms provide beautiful views, original fixtures, classic charm and modern updates. We offer more than just beds! Enjoy our outside spaces and complimentary breakfast.
Each room has a private bath, refrigerator/freezer, eco-friendly grind-n-brew single cup coffee maker, wifi, laptop friendly work space, TV with cable vision, iron, luxury linens, hair dryers, hangers, all the essentials.
All linens, including duvet covers and shams are laundered every time to ensure complete freshness for our guests.
In room phone chargers are available upon request.
Served buffet-style from 7-10 a.m. The inn uses homemade breads and pastries, local jams, jellies, cheeses and as many local products as it can. Let Mary know and she will prepare to-go breakfast boxed in bamboo for those with early morning equine and other schedules to meet.
Our Room Numbers
Our rooms don’t have homey or popular themed names because we have the original brass room number tags and we really like that nod to the past.
Our Green Commitment
We place a heavy focus on installing environmentally-friendly features throughout the inn.
Other planned green facets include rainwater collection tanks for laundry, solar panels, LED lighting and abundant recycling bins.
Guests will receive travel coffee mugs that can be refilled at the Tryon Coffeehouse for free.
